During 2008, we created new material to develop an identity and brand for the library. Ranging from library card design, brochure templates, brochure creation and ideas to a bookmark set to promote areas of our collection. Our library now carries with it a very obvious brand, seen and standing out in many places due to the range of material that carries the design. Libraries are places of community interest and display coming community events, programs and promotion of other services. You'll be thrilled with the results - like I am - and remember your business card isn't doing you any good if it's sitting there on your shelf - get them out to people - I give EVERYONE I meet and build a bit of rapport with 2 or 3 cards minimum and I have a little mantra that for every card I hand out I will get back $100 or more in income, so the faster I can get them out the faster my income comes in.
